What Our Customers Say
By the end of the week, my yoga mat and surfboard are one and the same. And while my muscles are fatigued and sore initially, by retreat's end (and with the help of some criminally cheap Balinese massages) my surfing has improved markedly, and I'm a sickening picture of health and wellbeing.

"Success at last!!! After years of training, I finally have proof that I can (sometimes) catch green waves 🙂
The last weeks I traveled around Malaysia with my brother and his partner and spend one week at a surf & yoga retreat in Bali - is there a better way to spend your time?
There is not much to say about the time in Bali apart from that it was great: location, waves, company, food, accommodation, weather, ... 9 'females' from different parts of Australia (including the one 'odd' German ;-)) plus two surf coaches and one yoga teacher braved the waves each morning as of 6.30 and spend the rest of the day surfing, doing yoga, eating and napping in the shade. The perfect relaxation! Too bad that it is already over ..."

The retreat itself feels more like hanging out with a bunch of girls in their hometown than a commercial endeavour. Through the sharing of girly stories and wetsuit shyness, there is an ease with which we are able to enjoy each other's company. Belle puts it down to the humbling nature of surfing as the great leveller and bonder between women on her retreats.

I feel fit, healthy and two inches taller. I have learned to ride a wave and I've survived an entire long weekend in good humour without a gin and tonic. Belle is a miracle worker and I have an exhilarating new way to spend my weekends.

Belle is also a dedicated yogi and experienced yoga teacher. She has explored various yoga styles and
philosophies and brings them together in her own unique yoga offerings. She teaches yoga to build
strength, energy, flexibility and focus for surfing. But she also teaches Yin Yoga for relaxation,
gentleness, allowing, opening and inner calm. She understands the importance of the balance
between the yin and the yang, the strong and the soft, the active and the passive, the doing and the
receiving.

Belle is an incredible surf teacher and yoga instructor. I hadn’t surfed since having children, I held a lot of anxiety towards getting back in the water. As my children are now learning to surf, it’s the perfect time for me to start again. I never imagined she’d have me out the back catching waves on my own, in just two days!
